Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider Ambassador Gastroenterology

Job Summary:

The Advanced Practice Provider Ambassador, Gastroenterology will be responsible for engaging with healthcare professionals at a local level to identify marketplace needs, provide disease state and product education, and support the utilization of JJIM access and fulfillment resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver disease state education on topics such as pathophysiology, diagnostic modalities, treatment options, and patient care using company-approved materials.
  • Provide on-label product education to support the appropriate utilization of company-approved products.
  • Develop and deliver unbranded or branded speaker programs in small or large group settings as needed.
  • Educate and champion the utilization of JJIM Access and Fulfillment resources to drive optimal patient experience and care.
  • Engage with target customers, including APP societies and advocacy organizations, to uncover marketplace needs.
  • Collaborate with field teams and home office marketing teams to shape local execution and APP-specific strategies and materials.
  • Complete all required field standards, including timely and accurate documentation of customer engagements, expense reporting, and required trainings.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree as either a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) is required.
  • 3 years of experience as a NP or PA actively engaged in Gastroenterology/Inflammatory Bowel Disease patient care is required.
  • Track record of building productive, collaborative relationships with individuals of varied educational background and performing different roles within an ecosystem is required.
  • Self-starter with proven ability to set, pursue, and achieve goals/results is required.
  • Superior communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent follow-through is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including some weekend conferences, is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • NP or PA experience working in both institutional/academic settings and community offices is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the payer approval process and solid business acumen is preferred.
  • Ability to translate customer feedback into potential solutions is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills are preferred.
  • Success exhibiting peer leadership, mentorship, and coaching is preferred.
  • Genuine interest and demonstrated competence in learning and adopting new technologies is preferred.
