Wound Care Specialist

Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Wound Care Specialist. This role will play a critical part in providing exceptional care to patients with acute and chronic wounds, ostomies, and other skin-related conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to assess and plan care for patients with complex wound management needs.
- Collaborate with medical teammates to identify care measures to prevent and treat pressure ulcers and complex wounds.
- Develop and maintain evidence-based practice guidelines for care of the ostomy and skin care patients.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state where you work and reside.
- Baccalaureate degree required, MSN preferred.
- Three to five years recent, relevant direct care nursing experience required.
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
