We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician - Equipment Specialist to join our team at Ken's Foods. This is a critical role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems throughout the plant, including automated packaging machinery, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and electrical control and power circuits.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues with equipment and systems, using knowledge of electrical schematics and troubleshooting techniques.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure compliance with corporate standards and systems to monitor food safety, quality, and facility cleanliness, and report any suspicious activities or potential product contamination issues.
- Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth operations and resolve technical issues.
- Technical Skills: Thorough knowledge of automated packaging machinery operation, troubleshooting, and repair; pump theory, operation, and repair; pneumatic principles, application troubleshooting, and repair; hydraulic principles, application troubleshooting, and repair; electrical schematics, and welding and soldering.
- Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of the Standard Timing Model mechanical test with a score of 60% or better.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work safely with low and high voltage circuits; and ability to identify and order parts and materials from manufacturers' manuals and prints.
This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be required to work safely and efficiently, with minimal supervision.
