About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Fort Bend Epicenter, a premier sports, recreation, and entertainment destination. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Assist customers with purchases, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and balance the cash drawer.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the dining and concession areas.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Prepare and serve food items, fill condiment containers, and clean dining and concession areas.
  • Party Rentals: Assist with guest check-in, party supplies, and setup.
  • Security and Safety: Alert management to any suspicious activity, intoxicated individuals, or other safety concerns.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and ability to work as a team player.
  • Experience: Prior experience operating a cash register and balancing a cash drawer is preferred.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift 50 pounds waist high and occasionally lift, pull, push, and/or move heavy items.
  • Standing and Sitting: Will be required to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Weather Conditions: May work in outside weather conditions and be exposed to hot, wet, and humid conditions.
