Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician (Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist) to join our team at the Defense Health Agency. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing advanced medical care to patients with high-risk pregnancies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide highly responsible duties in the advanced examination, diagnosis, and treatment of obstetrical patients.
  • Conduct complete ultrasound examinations and obstetrical examinations of patients reporting to the clinic, plus consultations on patients in the clinic or hospital.
  • Supervise sonography staff and daily clinic operations, providing consultation in the field of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and complicated obstetrical patients to residents and staff.
  • Participate in the medical education training program within the department, guiding, instructing, and training residents, interns, medical students, and other professional personnel as required in all aspects of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and high-risk obstetrical care.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from a school in the United States or Canada approved by a recognized accrediting body.
  • Permanent, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
