Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team. As a Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing testing and quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform testing and quality control procedures according to established laboratory policies and procedures.
  • Recognize and evaluate critical results, and document notification of critical results to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure patient specimen stability and proper sample processing.
  • Perform instrument startup and shutdown, and perform and document all maintenance procedures and calibrations.
  • Meet expectations for turnaround time and pending list review.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field.
  • Certification as Medical Technologist by approved accrediting agency.
  • No experience required, but new graduates will be given the opportunity to earn certification within six months of hire date.
