Crane Operators

Role Description:

Responsible for the daily operation of a lattice boom crawler crane on land and barge to drive pilings for retaining walls, bulkheads, and structural foundations such as bridges and piers. Operators should be adept at managing hand and foot controls of hoisting equipment to position piling leads, hoist piles into leads, and align hammers over piles. Familiarity with various pile materials, including but not limited to Concrete Pile, Steel H Pile, Pipe Pile, Sheet Pile, and Timber Pile, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive pilings for retaining walls, bulkheads, and foundational structures.
  • Utilize pile driver head on machinery to drive pilings.
  • Assess distance and position piling leads accurately.
  • Hoist piles into leads and position hammers appropriately.
  • Activate power hammers and manage their operation.
  • Maintain and service machinery as required.
  • Select suitable attachments for various tasks.
  • Collaborate with project supervisors on specifications.
  • Engage in trench digging as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
  • 1 to 4 years of relevant experience.
  • NCCCO Certification is mandatory.
Carpenters

Role Overview:

Engage in the construction, erection, installation, fabrication, dismantling, and repair of structures, formwork, and fixtures using wood, metal forms, and associated accessories.

General Requirements:
  • Adhere to safety protocols.
  • Follow both verbal and written directives.
  • Utilize hand and power tools safely.
  • Report to and assist the immediate supervisor.
  • Deliver quality work in accordance with project specifications.
  • Accountable for tools and materials at the end of shifts.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
Functional Requirements:
  • Interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
  • Select appropriate materials based on job specifications.
  • Prepare layouts and mark cutting and assembly lines on materials.
  • Construct forms and chutes for concrete pouring.
  • Assemble and fasten materials together according to plans.
  • Finish concrete in formwork and align form panels.
Laborers

Role Description:

Perform a variety of manual tasks, typically working in a utility capacity, assisting skilled workers across various projects where demands require flexibility and the ability to work independently.

General Requirements:
  • Practice safety regulations.
  • Follow instructions effectively.
  • Utilize hand and power tools safely.
  • Assist immediate supervisors as needed.
  • Ensure quality work per project specifications.
  • Accountable for tools and materials at the end of shifts.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team.
Functional Requirements:
  • Measure distances and assist in grading and excavation tasks.
  • Direct other laborers in concrete pouring and finishing.
  • Assist in setting up equipment and maintaining grades.
  • Occasionally operate small power tools.
Piledriver/Riggers

Role Overview:

The Pile Driver is responsible for assisting in deep foundation installations, including timber piles, concrete piles, and sheet piles. Experience in erecting and dismantling pile driving equipment is essential, along with basic rigging knowledge.

Key Duties:
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Erect and dismantle lattice boom cranes.
  • Obtain necessary tools and components for tasks.
  • Interpret hand signals for crane operations.
  • Follow instructions diligently.
  • Utilize hand and power tools proficiently.
  • Engage in physical labor requiring strength and agility.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
  • Previous related experience is required.
  • 2+ years of industrial field experience as a Pile Driver Helper is preferred.
