Job Title: Psychiatric Technician

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Psychiatric Technician at the Utah State Hospital. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients
  • Provide direct care to patients, including administering medications and providing emotional support
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing department and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in patient treatment plans and behavioral programs
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to attend new employee orientation
