Transportation Specialist

The Transportation Specialist will be responsible for the safe and courteous transportation of senior participants to and from recreational activities, sites, and special events. This role requires a high level of independence and the ability to work with a significant degree of autonomy.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily safety inspection checks on assigned vehicles
- Maintain a daily manifest of vehicle use and ensure accurate records are kept
- Provide transportation services for small groups and recreational trips for the socialization hub
- Develop partnerships with the community to provide transportation throughout the D.C. metropolitan area
- Ensure compliance with COVID-19 regulations and maintain a positive work environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current Driver's License
- CDL is a plus
- No tickets or points on Driver's License within the last 3 years
- Must have an accident and traffic violation-free record
- Must be familiar with traveling in and around the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area
- Must have large vehicle driving experience of at least 3 years (12 passenger vans)
