Job Responsibilities and Qualifications:

Under general supervision, the CT Imaging Technician will operate Cat Scan machinery, position patients for diagnostic imaging, and perform related tasks. Essential skills include imaging for a variety of medical conditions, including pulmonary, neurological, and musculoskeletal issues.

Licensure and Certifications Required:

  • Certification from the Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist
  • ARRT (R) Registration
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification

Education and Experience Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ARRT (CT) Certification
  • Thorough understanding of human anatomy, radiographic methods, and radiation safety
  • Capability to assess exposure factors and analyze radiographs
  • Proficient and safe operation of Cat Scan equipment
  • Willingness to innovate techniques and stay current with industry advancements
