Compensation: $9.54 per hour plus gratuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver food and beverage items to guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Attend all scheduled pre-event meetings to ensure readiness.
  • Interpret and utilize the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and room diagrams effectively.
  • Gather and organize all necessary equipment for banquet events.
  • Adhere to service standards to promote safe and efficient operations.
  • Address guest needs promptly during events.
  • Report any maintenance or housekeeping needs to the Banquet Captain or Manager.
  • Maintain regular attendance as per hotel standards.
  • Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and nametag.
  • Follow all financial handling procedures when serving guests.
  • Prepare the event space according to the BEO and meal functions.
  • Clean and restore the banquet area post-event, ensuring all equipment is stored properly.
  • Keep the banquet storeroom organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and concerns, escalating to management when needed.

Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will have 3 to 6 months of relevant experience in hospitality or a related field.

Skills:

  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions and correspondence.
  • Effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions.
  • Common sense approach to follow simple instructions and handle standardized situations.
