Senior Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Vocational Nurse to join our team at UCI Health as a Senior Vocational Nurse. In this role, you will work under the direction of the RN Transplant Coordinator and contribute to the high-quality delivery of patient care services.

About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the assessment, data collection, and management of transplant candidates and recipients. You will participate in transplant clinics, collaborating with physicians and transplant coordinators to ensure effective patient experiences and throughput. Your ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload and establish effective working relationships across the Health System will be crucial to your success in this role.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Two years of clinical experience as a Vocational Nurse;
- The skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties;
- Customer service skills appropriate to the job;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
- The ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload;
- The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience caring for transplant patients and knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms are highly desirable for this role. Additionally, proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and basic computer skills are expected. If you have these qualifications, please highlight them in your application.
License and Certifications
