We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in the Medical Telemetry department. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, working under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Responsibilities- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to patients, including feeding, bathing, shaving, and changing clothes.
- Assist with preparing patients, equipment, and supplies for specific procedures and examinations.
- Monitor and report patient data, including vital signs and any changes in condition, to the RN.
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, including inventorying and storing patient belongings.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to hospital safety and infection prevention standards.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives, as well as professional learning and growth opportunities.
- Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program (or military medical specialty training).
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant by the Washington State Nursing Commission.
- Current healthcare provider American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
