At Stonebrook Exterior, we offer a comprehensive internship program designed to provide meaningful benefits to our interns and our organization. Our program is centered around providing a thorough understanding of construction management processes, both in the field and the office. Interns will have the opportunity to observe and participate in various aspects of construction management, including estimating, project management, and contract execution.
Educational Background Requirements & EligibilityThe internship program is open to upcoming senior college students studying a relevant field of education, such as construction management or construction engineering. Interns must have a valid driver's license and be able to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week. Housing advice will be provided, but interns are responsible for finding and paying for their own housing.
Internship StructureOur internship program runs year-round, with start and end dates coinciding with the intern's school schedule. Interns will be introduced to the construction process starting in estimating, where they will learn about plan reading, takeoffs, estimating, and contract execution. As they become familiar with the pre-construction process, interns may be assigned to a project or projects in the field, where they will observe and participate in various aspects of actual construction.
Pay and BenefitsStonebrook Exterior offers competitive pay for interns, based on relevant experience. Interns will also have the opportunity to network with industry professionals and may receive a job offer from Stonebrook Exterior upon completion of the internship.
Orientation and EvaluationInterns will be assigned a mentor who will provide guidance and support throughout the internship. A formal orientation process will be conducted on the first day, covering internship expectations, staff introductions, and a tour of the office and job sites. A final evaluation will be conducted at the end of the internship, providing feedback on areas of success and potential growth opportunities.
