Job Summary:
Crouse Hospital seeks a qualified Clinical Instructor to provide clinical instruction for associate degree nursing students with the pediatric patient population in the acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct students in the clinical setting, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Evaluate student performance of clinical course learning outcomes.
- Provide timely student feedback, both formative and summative, throughout the clinical experience.
- Develop and implement clinical education plans to meet the needs of students and the hospital.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in nursing required or be actively involved in Master's level degree work.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, current NYS licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse, and current CPR certification required.
- Three years of recent clinical experience required.
- Prior experience in teaching or precepting students preferred.
Compensation:
$50.00/hr for Masters Degree
$39.78/hr for Bachelors Degree
