Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to provide exceptional care to our patients and clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for veterinary medicine and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting and assisting in various medical procedures, including venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, dental prophylaxis, laboratory work, patient recovery, and more.
  • Providing nursing care and rehabilitation therapies, maintaining medical records, and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Administering medications and vaccines under veterinarian supervision, educating and advising clients on pet health, nutrition, and care.
  • Ensuring compliance with veterinary laws and regulations in California, managing inventory, and ordering medical supplies as needed.
  • Assisting veterinarians in surgery and other medical procedures, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the clinic and equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Current RVT license in the State of California.
  • 5 years of experience as an RVT (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in veterinary software and technology.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to animal care.
