About the Job:
Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team in providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.

Salary and Benefits:
We offer an attractive salary package of $120,000 per annum, along with comprehensive benefits that include health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities. This position comes with a 13-week commitment, working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, guaranteeing 36 hours per week.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have at least one year of recent full-time equivalent experience in Labor and Delivery within the last three years. While five or more years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred, we also value candidates with high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years. A Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided is mandatory, as well as certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and ACLS. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, promoting seamless communication and cohesive care.
- Monitor and document the mother and baby's condition throughout the process, maintaining accurate records and facilitating informed decision-making.
- Administer medications and assist with pain management and interventions as required, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct high-risk assessments and provide appropriate care measures, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients, fostering trust and confidence through exceptional care and compassion.
- Educate and support patients and families regarding childbirth and postpartum care, empowering them with knowledge and resources to navigate these life events with ease.
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-stress situations, adapting to complex challenges with poise and professionalism.
