Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Security Officer to join our team at Security Solutions of America. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and Control Access: Authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to prevent theft and maintain security of premises.
  • Patrol and Inspect: Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
  • Respond to Emergencies: Answer alarms and investigate disturbances, and call police or fire departments in cases of emergency.
  • Document Incidents: Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Provide Customer Service: Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.
Requirements
  • Age and Citizenship: 18 years of age or older, and a U.S. Citizen.
  • Appearance and Conduct: Neat appearance, and a professional demeanor.
  • Driving Record: Clean driving record.
  • Background Check: Pass a background investigation.
  • Transportation: Have reliable transportation and a smartphone.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • License: Florida Class D License.
