About the Role

At Children's Wisconsin, we are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Clinician to join our team in the area of pediatric enteral feeding devices. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert care to children and their families, utilizing your advanced knowledge and skills in pediatric nursing practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients with enteral feeding devices, including outpatient case management and coordination of care.
  • Develop and validate nursing care standards for patients with enteral feeding devices, ensuring alignment with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards.
  • Collaborate with inpatient case management to ensure seamless discharge planning and home care coordination for patients with enteral feeding devices.
  • Act as a patient and family advocate, ensuring the highest level of care and support for our patients.
  • Contribute to the identification of nursing diagnoses, interventions, and expected outcomes for patients with enteral feeding devices.
  • Communicate and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing and three to four years of pediatric nursing experience.
  • Current State License as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross.
