The company operates as a flex plant, producing a wide range of products, from whole pasteurized eggs to liquid, dried, hard-boiled, and curds.

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Lab Technician to join our team at Wakefield, one of the largest production facilities within Michael Foods.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Job Description:

As a Process Lab Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of food products through meticulous laboratory analysis.

Your role will involve preparing samples, conducting microbiological and chemical tests, and maintaining accurate documentation to meet quality standards.

You will adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP's) and participate in safety initiatives to contribute to delivering safe, high-quality food products to customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biological Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field
  • One year of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in food manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Able to read, interpret, and communicate effectively with various documents
