Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Meal Planning and Execution: Develop and implement meal plans that meet the needs of our customers, ensuring proper portioning and presentation of food products.
  • Inventory Management: Order and receive food and non-food items, verifying quantities and ensuring that all items are prepared for tray line.
  • Staff Management: Manage, train, and develop a team of production employees, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and investigate any overages or shortages, ensuring that all food products meet our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all tasks are completed in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, and that all food safety records are up-to-date.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with our products and services.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or A.A. Degree plus four years of directly related experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of two to four years of retirement or adult home/care experience preferred, depending upon formal degree or training.
  • Skills: Excellent knowledge of food and catering trends, inventory and purchasing control, and customer service skills.
