We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Cynet Health. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with our experienced team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Job Summary:The Travel Nurse RN will be responsible for providing nursing care to critically ill patients diagnosed with heart attack, defibrillator or pacemaker implant, or other cardiac conditions. You will work closely with the Unit Supervisor to ensure seamless patient care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care to critically ill patients, including those with heart attack, defibrillator or pacemaker implant, or other cardiac conditions.
- Monitor cardiac and other critical vital signs and detect any changes, enabling intervention of life-threatening or emergency situations.
- Initiate and revise patient plans of care based on continuing assessments.
- Include patient teaching and discharge planning in overall patient care.
- Document nursing interventions and patient response according to hospital policy.
- Evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and methods of implementation.
- Practice within the limits of the state's Nurse Practice Act and health care facility and nursing administrative policies.
- Supervise ancillary personnel in their performance of assigned job-related duties.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and the rights of the patient.
- Maintain and update skills needed for excellence in patient care.
- Administer complex cardiac medications, including titration based on patient vital signs.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, with current licensure in good standing.
- Minimum of one year of current hospital experience in PCU Specialty.
- Evidence of current BLS and ACLS required.
