Job Summary

Fisk University is seeking a highly qualified Mathematics Professor to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching introductory and upper-division courses, as well as contributing to the development of the University's Mission and Vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach mathematics courses at the undergraduate level, including introductory and upper-division courses
  • Develop and implement curriculum innovation, interdisciplinary studies, and innovative teaching strategies
  • Conduct scholarly research and publish papers in mathematics journals
  • Participate in the Faculty Assembly and contribute to the development of the University's Mission and Vision
  • Engage in activities that generate professional development leading to demonstrated achievement
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in mathematics or a closely related field
  • Experience in teaching mathematics courses at the undergraduate level
  • Strong research background and publication record in mathematics
