Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Emergency Department Nurse to work in a fast-paced emergency room setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:- Assess and prioritize patient needs in a timely and efficient manner
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments
- 1+ year of experience as an Emergency Department Nurse
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school
- Current state-specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- May require PALS certification; MAB certification; TNCC
