Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Water Quality Program Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the Utah Water Watch program and the Utah Harmful Algal Bloom Squad, as well as assisting in managing the Pack It Out Utah and Gotta Go initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and manage a team of volunteers to monitor water quality throughout the state.
  • Develop and implement educational programs to train volunteers on watershed science and monitoring techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases to track volunteer activity and monitoring data.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and partners to promote water quality awareness and education.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of outreach and education programs to promote water quality best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments and organizations to advance water quality goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to natural resource management, volunteer and/or program management, or water quality.
  • Professional experience in program management, administration, marketing, and development of educational programs.
