Job Summary

The Warehouse Specialist position at Nexeo Plastics, LLC involves receiving, processing, storing, and shipping inventory according to the SAP system and shipping schedules. This role requires loading orders onto trucks and shipping containers, unloading and organizing incoming stock, and placing labels on outgoing orders. Additionally, the Warehouse Specialist may package material off from a railcar or bulk truck into gaylords boxes using a pneumatic packaging system.

This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic warehouse environment where you will assist other team members as needed and lead or assist with special assignments or tasks as requested. The ideal candidate will have 0-2 years of previous warehouse experience and possess inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry, and computer skills. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform required pre-use inspections of equipment and provide reports.
  • Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pick-up operations.
  • Ensure delivered goods correspond to products identified on the bill of lading.
  • Check weights of shipment and monitor distribution weight to legal road limits.
  • Pick up empty or partially empty drums, totes.
  • Review paperwork to ensure transport of material is authorized and compliant.
  • Operate forklift to pick material, store, and stage material, and bulk off-load material from bulk tank trucks or rail cars.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve overall team operations.
