Job Summary

As an MRI technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients. You will work in a hospital, outpatient center, or imaging center, preparing patients for MRIs, operating MRI technology, processing MRIs for radiologists and physicians, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for MRIs, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Operate MRI technology, following established protocols and guidelines
  • Process MRIs for radiologists and physicians, providing accurate and timely results
  • Handle patient records, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy
  • Use other radiologic equipment, such as CTs and X-rays, as needed
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • At least 1 year of recent experience as an MRI technologist
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • Current state license (if applicable)
