About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team at VCA Far Country Animal Hospital. As a key member of our medical support team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and creating a positive environment for our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with physical examinations, anesthesia monitoring, and surgery assistance
  • Perform radiology, lab procedures, venipuncture, catheter placement, and pharmacy tasks
  • Provide top-tier care to patients, including dentistry and patient care
  • Collaborate with the medical team to ensure seamless patient care and exceptional client experiences
Requirements
  • Current veterinary technician license in Alaska or eligibility to obtain one
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and creating a positive client experience
