We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Colorectal Surgery team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities- Assess, coordinate, and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel to maintain standards of professional nursing.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program in which a Diploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree is conferred.
- Must hold current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Obtains and maintains certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC.
