Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Forestry and Utility Expert to join our team at Eocene Environmental Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of power to our customers while also promoting sustainable habitat development throughout our utility right-of-way.
About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for conducting tree and brush inventories, hazard tree inspections and evaluations, and planning work for tree contractors. You will also be responsible for managing data, safeguarding employees and the public from hazards, and enforcing on-the-job safety practices.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in forestry or a related field and/or experience in utility line clearance. You will also need species identification skills and invasive species knowledge, as well as the ability to obtain ISA Arborist Certification within 12 months. Additionally, you will need a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to work in rugged terrain and inclement weather.
