Key Responsibilities:
Consultative Services:
- Implementing established client engagement strategies to assist sales teams during product launches and cultivate client relationships.
- Serving as the initial point of contact for client inquiries and concerns, resolving issues or escalating complex matters as necessary to ensure appropriate responses.
- Setting clear objectives for each service interaction; utilizing standardized materials for client presentations; and asking pertinent questions to gauge client interest and identify areas needing further clarification.
Technical Support:
- Contributing to the client engagement strategy to communicate product launches effectively.
- Acting as the primary contact for client inquiries and complex issues, ensuring clients receive timely and appropriate responses.
- Developing solutions based on a comprehensive understanding of client needs and challenges.
- Providing insights to product development teams to tailor offerings to client specifications.
- Fostering partnerships and collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Practicing active listening and maintaining objectivity to address issues effectively.
- Seeking and providing ongoing feedback for personal and professional growth.
Health, Safety, and Compliance:
- Exercising due diligence for personal and others' safety in the workplace, adhering to relevant legislation and IMDEX's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policies.
- Utilizing and maintaining provided personal protective equipment while reporting any unsafe conditions.
- Ensuring that personal actions do not negatively impact the health and safety of others.
Risk & Compliance:
- Experience with client relationship management systems (CRM).
- Knowledge of industry processes related to drilling and mining.
- Understanding of drilling optimization, geological knowledge, and data analytics, including familiarity with specific IMDEX technologies (e.g., Gyros/Fluids) and their applications.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Completion of secondary education.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales role, preferably within the mining sector.
- Experience in the mining industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with client relationship management systems (CRM).
- Understanding of relevant industry processes, including drilling and mining.
- Knowledge of drilling optimization, geological insights, and data analytics, including familiarity with specific IMDEX technologies (e.g., Gyros/Fluids) and their applications.
