Physics Lecturer

Converse University is seeking a highly qualified Physics Lecturer to join our Department of Natural Sciences. As an Instructor of Physics, you will teach algebra-based physics courses for students majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, and biology. The position involves teaching two lecture/lab courses in Fall and Spring, as well as a specialty course during the January interim. You will also be responsible for maintaining instructional and laboratory equipment, preparing lecture and laboratory materials, and providing timely evaluations of student performance.

The ideal candidate will have a M.S. in physics and experience in teaching and developing physics courses for students majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, and biology. Additionally, you should be able to teach additional coursework that complements current departmental expertise and fulfills both departmental and institutional needs.

We offer a competitive salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
