Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Job Description

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Concord, NH. As a key member of our educational team, you will provide direct speech therapy services to PreK and elementary students, working closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to develop and implement treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality speech therapy services to students, adhering to established treatment plans and protocols.
  • Conduct speech and language screenings and assessments to identify students' needs and develop targeted interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure students' speech and language needs are met, promoting a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance, providing valuable insights for educators and administrators.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring students receive tailored support to meet their unique needs.
Requirements:
  • SLPA certification is a must.
  • Experience working in a school setting or with children is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with educators and support staff to achieve common goals.
Position Details:
  • This is a full-time, school-year position.
  • The caseload will primarily consist of PreK students, with some elementary-level students.
