Position Overview:
The role involves upholding rigorous standards of Food Safety and Product Quality through the thorough cleaning and sanitation of food processing equipment, utensils, and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute cleaning and sanitation tasks as outlined in the Master Sanitation Program.
2. Employ appropriate chemicals and cleaning agents to sanitize processing area walls, floors, and equipment.
3. Utilize sanitation tools safely and effectively.
4. Remove debris from processing areas.
5. Communicate chemical supply levels to management.
6. Monitor and document facility conditions to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
7. Verify the effectiveness of cleaning and sanitation efforts and complete necessary documentation.
8. Record actions taken in response to any unsatisfactory observations regarding equipment, utensils, or processing areas.
9. Conduct testing as required.
10. Maintain safety protocols within the plant.
11. Ensure proper usage of equipment.
12. Work independently with minimal supervision.
13. Provide support for additional duties as required.
14. Obtain certification for operating electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
15. Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Experience with sanitation tools and chemicals, knowledge of food safety practices, and safe operation of forklifts and powered pallet jacks.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is $19.14.
