Your Role:

As an ABA Behavior Technician at Accel Therapies, you will implement individualized ABA therapy programs for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Program Supervisors (PS). You will work directly with clients, providing one-on-one support and interventions targeting specific behavior goals. This role is ideal for compassionate, patient, and dedicated individuals passionate about making a positive impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct Client Support: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions in various settings, following the behavior intervention plan developed by BCBAs and PS.
  • Data Collection: Record and maintain data on client progress, behavior observations, and relevant information during therapy sessions.
  • Behavior Intervention: Implement behavior modification techniques outlined in individualized treatment plans to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure coordinated delivery of services and progress monitoring.
  • Professional Development: Attend ongoing training and meetings to stay current with best practices in ABA therapy.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Previous experience working as an ABA Therapist or with individuals with Autism/developmental disabilities (a plus)
  • Previous childcare experience (highly preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A positive, team-player attitude
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work
  • Lifting up to 15 pounds may be required
  • Accessing all departments at our facilities
