We are seeking a highly qualified HVAC Instructor to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As an HVAC Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality instructional content in HVAC-related courses.
- Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to ensure student success.
- Stay current with industry trends and developments in the field of HVAC.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Participate in departmental and college-wide committees to promote the college and its programs.
- Associate of Applied Science degree in HVAC or related field.
- 10,000 hours of HVAC work experience with EPA Section 608 Certification and qualified to proctor the exam.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
- Teaching experience or a strong willingness to engage in effective teaching practices.
- Current industry certifications, such as EPA 608, NATE, or others.
