Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement a detailed business development strategy aimed at penetrating the youth sports market, with an emphasis on diversifying beyond soccer into various sports.
- Leverage existing connections in youth sports, including those within competitor organizations, to uncover and pursue new business prospects.
- Work closely with the operations team to guarantee smooth project execution and deliver exceptional client service.
- Engage in outbound outreach, such as attending youth soccer events and other pertinent industry functions, to generate leads and broaden their network.
- Foster long-term relationships with key players in the youth sports community, including event coordinators and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technical specialists, to provide product demonstrations and address client inquiries.
- Remain updated on industry trends and developments, offering insights and recommendations to steer strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably within the sports industry.
- Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
