Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children through constant supervision.
  • Assist in executing developmentally appropriate activities and daily schedules.
  • Work collaboratively with lead educators to cultivate a nurturing and engaging atmosphere.
  • Build positive relationships with children, supporting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
  • Help with essential care tasks, including feeding, diapering, and naptime routines.
  • Contribute to the organization and cleanliness of classrooms and play areas.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with children, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • A strong commitment to Christian values and their integration into daily interactions with children.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in early childhood development or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a childcare or educational setting, particularly with infants or toddlers.
  • Knowledge of infant care practices and developmental milestones.
  • Ability to create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
  • First Aid, Fire Safety, AED, and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe).
