Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Donation Door Attendant to join our team at Goodwill of Western New York. As a key member of our donation team, you will be responsible for greeting and assisting donors, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth donation process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist donors at the store donation door, offering tax receipts and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to donor inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collect, sort, and organize donations according to company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist other departments within the company as needed, demonstrating a team-oriented approach.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to make decisions regarding the quality of items donated.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential, with a commitment to attending scheduled shifts.
  • Physical ability to lift, exert, push, pull, carry, or move up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly with no support.
