Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with month-end close and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain accurate costing of labor, materials, and shipping.
  • Oversee bank and treasury activities, including wire payments, clearing checks, and bank reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable activities, including invoice entry, vendor inquiries, and cash collection.
  • Provide support to the accounts receivable clerk on heavy cash collection days and offer directional guidance when needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least five years of experience in cost accounting or a related field.
  • Proven experience working in a high-volume setting with multiple vendors and customers.
  • Strong cost accounting skills and knowledge of financial software.
  • QuickBooks experience is a plus but not required.
