A rewarding opportunity awaits a dedicated Behavior Therapist to work with a preschool-aged male student in Placerville, California.

About the Role

This part-time or full-time position offers 15 guaranteed hours and potential for additional floating hours during the PM shift. You will provide behavior therapy under supervision, implement behavior intervention plans, and work on developing social, emotional, and academic skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized behavior therapy to a preschool-aged male student
  • Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by supervisors
  • Collaborate with educators to enhance social, emotional, and academic skills
  • Manage aggressive tendencies in a calm, professional manner
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress
Qualifications
  • Active RBT certification (mandatory)
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children and behavior therapy is preferred
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively
  • Flexibility to work AM shifts with potential PM float hours
Benefits Package
  • Competitive salary based on experience: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

  • Guaranteed minimum 15 hours per week, with potential for more hours during PM shifts
  • Contract duration: Current school year, with option to extend for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year
