Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures on patients while providing excellent care and attention to detail.
  • Following established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and safe imaging results.
  • Administering radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of a radiologist to detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes.
  • Guiding patients through the imaging process, addressing their questions and concerns, and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and recognizing any signs of discomfort or medical problems, taking appropriate action to ensure their safety.
  • Responding to physician questions and needs regarding patients, providing accurate and timely information to support patient care.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification.
  • State Nuclear Medicine License.
  • Venipuncture certification/permit.
  • CPR certification.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience, preferably in nuclear medicine or PET imaging.
