Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Operator to join our team at Phoenix Closures Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating high temperature plastic extrusion and slitting lines to produce close tolerance triple layer plastic foam.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the operation of the extrusion line to produce high-quality rolled goods.
• Monitor and adjust the process to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Provide support to the Production Department as assigned.
• Identify and sort nonconforming material, and segregate scrap material for reprocessing.
• Relieve other employees during breaks and cover for absences/vacations on other shifts.
• Follow all GMP guidelines and safety rules, procedures, and Code of Conduct.
• Complete necessary documentation for the slitter.

Requirements:

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and good mathematical skills.
• Forklift/scissor lift training and maintenance of license.
• 1-2 years of experience in a plastic production environment, with machine operating experience and familiarity with large processing equipment and GMP.
