Job Summary

The Data Analyst Specialist at JobRialto will apply mathematical modeling and data analysis skills to support management in decision-making and policy formation. The role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data while developing decision support tools. This position requires a strong focus on data analysis, reporting, and collaboration to meet organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create mathematical or simulation models that incorporate constants, variables, restrictions, and conflicting objectives.
  • Analyze management-provided information to define and conceptualize operational problems.
  • Validate and test models to ensure accuracy and reformulate as needed.
  • Define data requirements and gather relevant information using statistical tests and judgment.
  • Pull and analyze data to create reports addressing ad hoc requests and providing actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver data-driven solutions for both simple and complex projects.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, statistics, mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in operations research, mathematics, statistics, data modeling, or related areas.
  • Proficiency in Alteryx and SQL.
  • Basic knowledge of strategic planning and resource allocation principles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or other advanced degrees in relevant fields.
  • Experience with Python, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Previous experience in data analysis and reporting, including building reports and querying data.
  • Team-oriented with a strong emphasis on collaboration.
  • Flexibility to work in CST hours, with meetings typically starting at 9:00-9:30 AM CST.
