Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acute Care Director to join our leadership team at VIR Healthway Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Acute Care Services team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

About the Role

As an Acute Care Director, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our patients and their families. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing the Acute Care Services team, including developing and implementing strategic plans to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction;
  • Collaborating with other departments and teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication;
  • Providing clinical leadership and expertise to guide the development and implementation of evidence-based practices;
  • Maintaining a safe and respectful work environment, promoting a culture of empathy and compassion among staff members;
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective collaboration and communication.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Acute Care Clinical Leader, with experience as a Unit Level Director strongly preferred;
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff members to deliver exceptional patient care;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues;
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education, with a focus on staying current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.

What We Offer
