Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Plasma Donation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for conducting screenings, physicals, and assessments with patients to determine their eligibility for plasma donation.

Compensation

The salary for this position is $29.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive hourly rate, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.

Responsibilities

As a Plasma Donation Specialist, your duties will include:

  • Conducting thorough screenings and assessments of patients to determine their eligibility for plasma donation
  • Collecting vital signs, height, and weight measurements
  • Administering finger stick tests to check hematocrit and protein levels
  • Providing education and counseling to patients on the plasma donation process
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and test results
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A valid LPN or RN license
  • Experience in a medical or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
