This innovative satellite technology firm is in the process of launching a state-of-the-art satellite network, headquartered in Denver, Colorado.

As a Lead Embedded Systems Engineer, you will spearhead the comprehensive development of essential embedded software for their satellites, contributing to the ongoing efforts to design and deploy cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities of the Lead Embedded Systems Engineer

  • Design and implement the complete software lifecycle and architecture for embedded systems on new Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites (Embedded C, Embedded Linux)
  • Oversee Hardware In Loop (HiL) testing, on-vehicle assessments, and the subsequent integration and deployment of Flight and Embedded Software algorithms
  • Collaborate with teams focused on propulsion, avionics, hardware, and other spacecraft systems
  • Report directly to Engineering Leadership and take full responsibility for the embedded software design

Qualifications for the Lead Embedded Systems Engineer

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing sophisticated embedded systems within the Space sector or related fields (Drones, UAVs, Autonomous Vehicles, etc.)
  • Proficient in C/Linux embedded software development (experience with Pentalinux or Yocto is a plus)
  • Familiarity with FPGA or low-level hardware/bare-metal programming is preferred
  • Knowledge of Python for testing and automation purposes

A US Green Card or Citizenship is mandatory
