Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Make repairs and adjustments as needed to maintain equipment functionality.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities to extend equipment lifespan and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Collaborate with production workers to inform them of routine maintenance techniques and monitor compliance.
  • Provide mechanical maintenance information to colleagues and management as needed.
  • Prepare and analyze maintenance reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Ability to work various shifts, including weekends.
  • Basic math and communication skills to accomplish required paperwork and read technical manuals.
  • Knowledge and ability to safely and proficiently use hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
  • Skilled at operating welding/brazing equipment, lathes, milling machines, and other shop equipment.
  • Ability to work in tight, cramped spaces and climb ladders/scaffolds.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and motor skills enabling mobility and quick reflexes.
  • Visual/hearing ability sufficient to recognize or detect equipment malfunctions and warning devices/signs.
