Job Summary

Bunge North America is seeking an experienced Electro Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As an Electro Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery in our plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
  • Read and interpret drawings and layouts
  • Set up and operate equipment necessary to perform functions of the craft
  • Install, maintain, replace, move, align or remove equipment, machines and piping or any other production or maintenance devices
  • Perform electrical and mechanical operations necessary for the construction, installation, repair and operation of equipment and devices of the plant
  • Rebuild, repair, replace damaged, defective, or worn parts
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and remove material and equipment from job site
  • Assist in overall plant cleanliness and housekeeping
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of Industrial Mechanical experience required (Food Manufacturing industry preferred)
  • Basic PC/Laptop hardware & software knowledge and experience preferred
  • LOTO training and experience required
  • Electrician Training and certification (Ark flash/High voltage)
  • Ability to read and understand SOPs, prints and manuals required
  • Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration preferred
  • Good organizational and communication skills required
  • Experience as welder. Able to weld stainless and regular steel
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment required
  • Able to drive a fork truck safely required
  • Must be able to proficiently read and write in English for the purposes of record keeping and safety training and processes
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with varying schedules and overtime as needed by operations. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $30-$40 per hour, with an annual incentive bonus. Bunge North America offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
