Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MRI Technologist to join our team at Focus Staff. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI Equipment: Utilize magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Patient Care: Interview patients to explain MRI procedures, address concerns, and exhibit exceptional tact, courtesy, and poise when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Safety Protocols: Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols, requesting removal of hazardous metal objects, and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Training and Orientation: Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a MRI Technologist, with a strong background in diagnostic imaging and patient care.
  • Licensure: Current licensure in the required state.
  • Certifications: BLS certification and proficiency in MRI protocols.
  • Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills, ability to present information in one-on-one and small group settings, and ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
